Simon Dick

Simon qualified as a builder at the age of 19 before transitioning into well drilling and engineering. He completed his engineering qualifications through Tai Poutini Polytechnic as part of the industry training program at age 23, combining practical and technical expertise across both trades over the next 16 years.

Before joining Amediate Engineering, Simon spent time working in the Australian construction sector, further broadening his experience in site-based delivery and project coordination.

Over the past nine years at Amediate, Simon has held several key roles including Senior Tradesman, Workshop Manager, and Technical Manager. He was recently promoted to Branch Manager in recognition of his strong leadership, operational capability, and deep understanding of the business.

Simon brings hands-on knowledge across all facets of our work—factory, field, and site management. He leads with a calm, solutions-focused approach and plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
