Ivan McManaway

Ivan leads Amediate Engineering’s installation operations across New Zealand, overseeing the delivery and assembly of structural steel, custom fabrications, and site-based projects. With a background that spans production welding, factory supervision, and general engineering, Ivan brings a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset to every job.

He began his career as a production welder and worked his way into the role of Assistant Factory Manager at Capital Racking, where he developed a strong eye for quality, coordination, and workflow management. After retraining as a maintenance fitter and honing his skills in general engineering, Ivan joined Amediate as a fabricator. His keen attention to detail, responsiveness to customer needs, and preference for working on-site quickly saw him move into his current leadership role.

Today, Ivan ensures that Amediate’s installations run smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards, representing our commitment to precision, professionalism, and practical delivery on every project.
