Josh Aperahama leads Amediate Engineering as General Manager, bringing over two decades of leadership in engineering, operations, and organisational development. With a background that spans senior roles in the Royal New Zealand Navy and Babcock International, Josh has a proven track record in delivering complex engineering solutions, driving cultural transformation, and building high-performing teams.

A Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer, Josh holds a Master’s in Engineering and Management from the University of Portsmouth and an Executive MBA from Massey University. His technical and commercial experience is backed by deep sector knowledge across marine, defence, and manufacturing environments.

At Amediate, Josh is focused on creating practical, scalable systems that support growth and efficiency, while building meaningful partnerships with clients across construction, infrastructure, and specialist fabrication sectors. He’s passionate about simplifying complexity, enabling capability, and delivering with precision; whether it's custom stainless fabrication, structural steel, or turnkey site packages.
